Fire fighters hit the streets to raise awareness about the need for fire services reform

24 July

Over the next few weeks, our firefighters are taking to the streets in busy suburbs across Melbourne as part of a public awareness campaign for fire services reform - because they care about the community, and keeping people safe!

They’re giving up their personal time to answer peoples’ questions about the need for fire services reform - which is vital to ensure the safety of people and properties.

Victoria’s fire services system is complicated and way past its use by date - it has not significantly changed in 60 years!

We know the government’s proposed reform may be confusing. That’s why we are hitting the streets to clear things up.
